The Oceanside Breakers Boys U12 All-Star team secured first place in the Escondido Soccer Club’s 2013 New Year’s Kick Off tournament. The event, which was a recreational All-Star tournament for boys and girls ages 7 to 13, was played at Ryan Park in Escondido on January 5th and 6th.
The Oceanside All-Stars beat La Mesa All-Stars in the semi-finals and Escondido All-Stars in the finals to clinch the Cup. The Breakers Boys U12 team is coached by Eric Flynn and Doug Poffinbarger. The Breakers U12 All Star also finished second in the Southern California All Star Tournament hosted in Oceanside on December 8-9th
